French lessons · Albertville & online

You need to speak French.
Not go back to school.

I build each lesson around the situation you genuinely need to handle: speaking to colleagues, settling in France, dealing with everyday conversations, taking part in a meeting or simply finding the confidence to answer.

From €40/hour · preparation, materials and follow-up included · no recurring commitment

How it works

You start with a real problem.
The lesson is built around it.

You do not need to know your CEFR level or decide which grammar point to study. You tell me what you need to do more easily in French.

  1. 1

    You describe the situation

“I understand, but I cannot answer.” “I need to take part in meetings.” “I live in France but still avoid conversations.”

  2. 2

I prepare the lesson you need

I select relevant real-life material, the language you actually need, focused activities and a speaking task that resembles the real situation.

  3. 3

The next lesson builds on what happened

Your follow-up sheet records useful corrections, what was practised and the next priority. Progress is not left to chance.

French B1 / B1+

La mobilité du futur

One coherent thread connects comprehension, future and conditional forms, evaluation vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking and a realistic final decision.

  • An authentic document gives the learner something real to understand and discuss.
  • Language is explained when it becomes useful, because it serves the task.
  • The final mission requires the learner to choose, justify and adapt to a constraint.

Real-life needs

You do not have to love languages.
You just need to feel more at ease in French.

You do not need to be “gifted” or aim for perfect fluency. You only need a situation you want to handle better.

01

At work

Understand, answer, call, present, explain a problem or take part in a professional conversation.

02

For everyday life in France

Speak to neighbours, schools, healthcare professionals, administrations, shops and local services.

03

For travel and social life

Ask questions, tell stories, react naturally and stop relying on someone else to speak for you.

04

To finally dare to speak

Turn what you understand into language you can actually use, through progressive challenges and a non-judgemental framework.

A clear price

€40 covers more than the hour we spend together.

It pays for a prepared lesson, materials you keep and continuity between sessions. That means you are not simply paying for lesson after lesson without knowing where you are going.

No compulsory package. No recurring commitment. The number of lessons depends on your objective and can be reassessed.

Describe the project

Your trainer

Christine Garnier

French and English language trainer with more than twenty years of experience in personalised language learning.

I spent many years working in the Netherlands with adults who needed to use a language in real, sometimes demanding situations. Circonflexe grew from one conviction: a good lesson should not start with what a programme says comes next, but with what the learner needs to achieve.

I work in French, English and Dutch. Lessons take place in Albertville or online.

Frequently asked questions

Before you decide

You should know exactly what you are buying — and what I cannot honestly promise.

How many lessons will I need?

That depends on your starting point, objective, lesson frequency and practice between sessions. I can estimate the likely scope, but I cannot guarantee a language result in a fixed number of hours.

Can I take only a few lessons?

Yes. There is no automatic subscription or compulsory package. A specific short-term objective may need only a few sessions; a broader project naturally takes longer.

Are the materials genuinely personalised?

Yes. Each lesson is linked to your objective, your level and what happened in the previous session. The public lesson “La mobilité du futur” shows the quality and structure of the materials.

Can the lessons be funded through CPF or an OPCO?

No. Circonflexe is not Qualiopi-certified, so the lessons are not offered through CPF or other French public or pooled funding schemes requiring this certification. An employer may still purchase the service directly from its own budget.

Are online lessons available?

Yes. The materials are designed for use during the video lesson and can then be reviewed on a computer, tablet or phone.
